Each year the PTO sponsors a Holiday Breakfast, before Winter Break, to thank teachers and staff for their hard work and launch the Holidays in a festive way. It is truly a wonderful time for faculty, staff, and PTO.
The 2007/2008 breakfast was a huge success. The festive room and inviting food must have been too hard to resist as we hosted our largest attendance ever! Our dedicated committee was headed by Tina Anderson and backed by Tassie Bosher, Cristine Danielson, Maureen Gaffney, Pam Gaynes, Sue Johnson, Janet La Rocque, Abby Lombardi, and Anne Talamonte as they worked to build upon past tradition.
The committee added a few wonderful touches this year with a spacious new location --The Community Room--and even catered hot dishes based on recipes raved about during prior years’ breakfasts. Everything was delicious! Our own HCHS Madrigal singers and Orchestra were back in full force with a wonderful program to provide the perfect musical ambiance. Even those PTO members not on the committee generously contributed funds, food, and festive serving skills to insure the event was a most memorable one.
